Wyoming Drug Rehab Centers

The state of Wyoming is home to 510,295 people and the capitol is Cheyenne. This state is home to 1,980 people who are in state prisons. The police will make 3,140 arrests this year for drug charges and 2,380 arrests for DUIs. The state of Wyoming will lose 145 people from alcohol use and 45 people will subsequently lose their lives from drug use.

 

While cocaine can be found in Wyoming it is not a predominant problem as is heroin. In place of these drugs is methamphetamine. Meth has been the main concern for law enforcement. It has been seen that the use of meth cause most occurrences in violent crimes, domestic violence and child abuse. The production of meth has gone down but is still making a huge impact upon the state.

 

Marijuana usage is the highest of all the drugs. The marijuana is of Mexican origin although higher grades from Canada (BC Bud) can be found. There is a level of indoor grown marijuana and out door marijuana that is of no substantial amount. Here anyone found with 3oz of marijuana will receive a misdemeanor, 1 year of jail time and fine of $1,000.

 

Wyoming is also home to 24,855 marijuana users, 10,885 people who abuse prescription drugs, 4,100 people who use some form of cocaine and 250 heroin addicts.
