Males were twice as likely to drive under the influence as females. Those between the ages of 21 and 25 were most likely to drink and drive than any other age group at 27.3%. The average age of a person?s first drink was 16.6 years of age. 89.2% of people who first tried alcohol in 2006 were under the age of 21.
