Within the first quarter of the year the police will make about 105 drug related arrests and 80 driving under the influence arrests.

 

Property crime tends to be higher than the national average in Newport Beach scoring a 5 out of 10 on the national crime index, 2 points above the national average, while violent crime is lower. Newport Beach scored a 2, 1 point below the national average.
