- Any additional offenses in Nebraska are considered misdemeanors carrying a sentence of 7 days and a $500 fine.
- Any sale of marijuana is a felony and is punishable by a mandatory minimum sentence of 1 year with the possibility of up to 20 years and a $25,000 fine.
- Sale to a minor carries a 3 year mandatory minimum sentence with the possibility of 20 years.
- Sale within 1,000 feet of a school or other public building is also a 3 year mandatory minimum sentence with the possibility of 50 years.
