  • Any sale of marijuana is a felony and is punishable by a mandatory minimum sentence of 1 year with the possibility of up to 20 years and a $25,000 fine.
  • Sale to a minor carries a 3 year mandatory minimum sentence with the possibility of 20 years.
  • Sale within 1,000 feet of a school or other public building is also a 3 year mandatory minimum sentence with the possibility of 50 years.
